Fountain house Popperode

It shows an exhibition about tradition of festivals of Mühlhausen as well as geologic meaning and water management of depression sources. Every year a festival takes place at the fountain house. This event celebrated by singing and dancing goes back to ancient water cults. Children walk with flower arrangements towards the source to thank it with their flowers for eternal sputtering.
